Could it be worth bringing the Snyderverse back?

Featured Replies

With Netflix buying WBD, the Internet is discussing the idea of the company bringing back the Snyderverse, since Zack Snyder himself said he would return under these circumstances. James Gunn is obviously on the right track with his universe, but this could be the more-the-merrier situation. Let me know how everyone is feeling about the potential return of the Snyderverse.

If you had asked me a year ago before seeing Superman, I would have said that I'd love to see a continuation of the Snyder Cut story at least - so a couple more JL movies.

Post-Superman, I'm happy enough with the direction we're going, so I'm okay leaving it in the past - but I don't know that we'll ever get a DC movie with that kind of scale again though.

Adding my voice to the crowd, and no... It would be a waste of resources. Honestly, if Snyder was willing to do a couple of animated movies (or comic books) to wrap the story, that could be fun. But this obsession with bringing all the live-action cast back or nothing, is tiresome. I don't want Ezra Miller back, Ray Fisher would never return, and it's insane to think Ben Affleck would go through the intense physical prep needed for Batman again after everything that happened. It's just not worth it.

I could get behind an animated movie. WB has greenlit projects in the past with far less potential.

No, I’m far more excited about the universe James Gunn is building and we don’t need any more over-saturation. People are already going to compare the DCU to the MCU, I don’t want to also see competing Supermen.

also I just truly never understood the appeal to any of the Snyderverse movies to begin with.
