Video Game Adaptations

Featured Replies

With Fallout back I got to thinking what video game franchises could be adapted into a show or movie, I'd like to see something in the world of Elder Scrolls and get a Gears of War project off the ground

Comicbook Nation what would you want to see adapted

I seriously do not know how a Gears of War adaptation has taken so long. I feel like that world is so rich for an adaptation

I'd love to see a big budget Final Fantasy series of some kind. Just imagine how Final Fantasy X could look if given the time and proper money haha

Live-Action Wakka baby!!!

The original Beyond Good & Evil could be such a great TV show, and it's been a bit bewildering that we haven't received a Dragon Age or Mass Effect series or movie yet (I know the ME one is in development).

I also would love to see Final Fantasy 12 adapted, as it's basically like FF Star Wars and that would rule.

YES!

Just to add something that hasn't been said, Alan Wake and Metal Gear are perfect for the TV show structure. Also, I will forever ask for a Dark Souls anthology of sorts.

Been waiting on an Overwatch TV show since it launched almost ten years ago. Weirdly enough, feels more likely to happen now than at any other point.

I would love an Overwatch series because the world is incredible, but I don't care about team shooters...

Alan Wake for sure! The first game really was like watching an HBO show at times

I'd definitely love to see an Elder Scrolls series! Given the success of the Fallout one, I'm sure Bethesda has got to be at least considering it.

Yesssss Final Fantasy X is my favorite. That could be amazing on screen.

I'd like an animated Crash Bandicoot series that harkens back to Saturday morning cartoons. Naughty Dog was inspired by Looney Tunes, so just embrace that.

How has this not happened yet??? That would be a great idea

A Battlefield movie on a big IMAX screen would be nuts. Practical destruction, an ensemble squad, and embracing the overall chaos of that franchise could lead to something really special.
