December 31, 2025Dec 31 CB Team I don't know about you, but I love setting intentions and goals for the new year. Do you have any goals or intentions that are specific to gaming? I'm hoping to get caught up with some of my backlog and also try more games that aren't necessarily in my wheelhouse, since I loved a few of those this year.

January 2Jan 2 CB Team I'm going to play Shadow of the Tomb Raider before Legacy of Atlantis comes out. I've played and enjoyed the first two Survivor Trilogy games but never got around to Shadow (even though I bought it on sale three years ago). I think it's because I always had this weird mental block with the Tomb Raider trilogy where I can't help but compare it to Uncharted. Uncharted is one of my favorite series ever, so whenever I'd play Tomb Raider, part of me would go, "I'd rather be playing Uncharted." Time to get past that mental block.
January 2Jan 2 CB Team My goal is to play with my oldest more this year. He's a teenager now and I never know how much longer he will want to play games with me. We played Ultimate Alliance a lot when he was younger and I got him the Gold edition that has extra characters since he's been asking for it for a while. He wants to make Youtube content with it and I'm all for it!

She's very human and makes decisions that have real impact, good and bad.I actually think the combat in the Tomb Raider games is more satisfying, but the character stories in Uncharted are on another level. I'm really excited to see where Catalyst goes, since it's the true next chapter.
January 5Jan 5 CB Team The only thing I want in the near future is to 100% Silksong... Since I'm 48 hours in and haven't reached any ending, I guess I still have a while to go.
January 5Jan 5 CB Team I need to finally play through all of Red Dead Redemption 2 before GTA 6 releases. I keep waiting because I feel like Rockstar is going to release an upgraded version for PS5. At this point, though, I need to just stop holding off and get to it.
January 5Jan 5 CB Team I think my goal would really just be to explore the gaming world a bit more. I've really only played a limited number of games, but there are so many others out there that I've been interested in, so I think I'd really just like to try to delve into the world of gaming a bit more than I have so far.
January 5Jan 5 Not a video game but my big goal for 2026 is to begin DMing a D&D campaign at some point. I've been playing a lot but I really want to build a homebrew world for some friends and actually run it.

I'm probably going to start with a one-shot to see how I like it. Homebrew campaigns can be so good!
