With some massive (and scary) winter weather coming for a large chunk of the US this weekend, it sounds like a lot of us are going to be snowed in -- or at least dealing with temperatures so cold we won't want to leave the house. It's a prime opportunity to do some fun nerdy things (provided the electricity holds). What fun nerdy things are on your snowpocalypse agenda?

So long as we've got power, I'll be settling in for some gaming! Also hoping to get some reading done as well. Pretty much my ideal snowy weather combo.

I have a huge box of books to read that I've been putting off.

Best scenario: we keep power on and still get off of work and school : )

I hope everyone has a warm place to stay and a generator just in case. I know it's supposed to get really cold.

I’m gonna catch up on some network TV sitcoms that I’ve been criminally not keeping up with.

I’m also trying to get into my analog era playing some records, reading some physical books or graphic novels…

But I will be gaming like a loon. Marvel rivals is about to be a bloodbath!!!

Dusting off my old college Chinese notes and trying to read through a few issues of Record of the Dark Wars in the original language.

Luckily no snow but wound up with artic cold, but i plan to binge read my comics for the week, watch some anime and try to squeeze in time on Expedition 33

Sounds like a plan! I stacked up so many books to read that I've been putting off.

We won't get snow either, but everything is icing over so I pulled out a huge stack of books from storage just in case.

I made it pretty far through the Immortal Hulk run! Still have quite a few issues to read, but it's been nice to just sit back and read.

We thankfully lucked out and didn't get hit with the brunt of the storm, but I still used it as an excuse to fit in some Sims 4!

What a bust here in Atlanta lol. Our power didn't go out or anything!

That being said, I did watch John Carpenter's The Thing in a theater.
