What's the best superhero TV show ending?

After The Boys, which I think we're still deciding how we feel about it collectively, the question has to be asked whats the best superhero TV show ending?

For me, it's clearly Batman: The Brave and the Bold, but honestly there's a slew of great answers.

For live action, I'll say "Superman and Lois." They actually got to do a finale, and gave Superman an ending, instead of a cliffhanger.

I'll have to think about animated shows... so many are just dropped mid-story instead of properly ended.

Spider-Man 90s cartoon ending where Spider Man and Madame web finding the real Mary Jane. I hope there would be a revival for the continuation.

I feel like Marvel would be nuts not to do this!

Big respect for that pick, I agree

Hard disagree about The umbrella Academy. Obviously Spencer Perry has never had children. He has no idea what it is to work like crazy to give your child a better world with absolutely ZERO chance of being thanked or acknowledged for what you did. That is how I interpreted the ending of TUA. The team saved the world and the world has no idea. It's like being a parent. Maybe one day Spencer will have kids and will understand the ending of TUA better.

Hard disagree on the ending of The Umbrella Academy. It's pretty clear to me that Mr. Spencer Perry does not have any children. When you have kids, you end up working really hard to give them a better world than what you had. And you do this work without any thought or hope of thanks or recognition or acknowledgement. That's how I took the ending of TUA. The team saved the world and no one was ever going to thank them or acknowledge them or even know of what it took to make the world a better place. It's almost like, as a parent, you've done your job if your kid thinks the world is great and doesn't know the lengths that you went to make it that way. Maybe one day Spencer will have kids and will have a different perspective on the ending of TUA.

Maybe my kids will be able to write a coherent narrative too

No one has brought Legion to the discussion yet. That show was bonkers, but so well written!

I never finished it! Season 2 kind of lost me, and I genuinely had no idea it came back for a third!

Justice League Unlimited! That final Doomsday fight, Superman's world made of cardboard speech, Luthor with the anti-life equation, the final shot of all the heroes running towards the screen. Still don't think I've seen a more satisfying ending for a comic book show ever, really

As someone who watched every one of those animated Justice League/Justice League Unlimited episodes as they premiered, I was definitely tearing up at that final sequence after that epic story arc.

I can appreciate that they gave Superman a real ending, but I really thought the entire final season of Superman and Lois was buns.

Oh I agree with you 100%, Nicole! I think they were in the "we're the final Arrowverse show, CW is cancelling us... why put in the effort?" Glad they did a decent finale though.
