So, recently, it was announced a "newly restored" version of the theatrical cut of Star Wars will be shown in theaters for the 50th anniversary screenings. That's exciting. It's cool to see Lucasfilm embrace the theatrical cut after years of casting it aside, so I'm wondering, do you think this is a sign there are plans to give the unaltered trilogy a release on home media? Or is this just a special thing for the 50th anniversary re-release. As a 1990 baby, I grew up with the special editions (that was how I saw Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi for the first time), but I think it would be cool if the unaltered editions got a proper wide release. Just curious, what drives everyone to collect comic books? For me, collecting nowadays is really nostalgia and bring back a childhood activity. I used to draw all the time from comics, I’m desperately trying to get back into that. Actually think that I enjoy it more now than I did when I was a kid. I currently have 15 long boxes of comics, mostly Marvel and one short box.

With Netflix buying WBD, the Internet is discussing the idea of the company bringing back the Snyderverse, since Zack Snyder himself said he would return under these circumstances. James Gunn is obviously on the right track with his universe, but this could be the more-the-merrier situation. Let me know how everyone is feeling about the potential return of the Snyderverse.

What did you think of the new Doctor Who spinoff, The War Between the Land and the Sea? Personally, I absolutely loved it; it's not exactly subtle, the political messaging is about as subtle as a sledgehammer lol, but it's great fun.

I finally found the time last evening to catch up with the latest SIKTC issue. I'm really enjoying this current arc and how we get to see more of Jessica and her self-destructive behaviour. Still, it's been agonizing to follow it issue by issue. I started the Slaughterverse once it was a success already, so I had dozens of issues to binge-read for a few weeks until I became a one-per-month reader. Highlight for that final page with the chainsaw. Beautiful artwork!

There has been a lot of debate over whether or not GTA 6 will cost $100. I don't think it will be, just because there are other ways to make that money (special editions, online microtransactions, etc). Regardless, how much would you realistically pay for a game like GTA 6 or maybe your most anticipated game? Think Half-Life 3, The Elder Scrolls 6, or some other hail marry game. What would you pay for it if the developer announced that it was out tomorrow, but you had to pay a premium to play it?

Which fictional villain do you think would actually make a great mentor if you survived long enough to learn from them? Some of them may be ruthless, but they’re also disciplined, intelligent, and weirdly motivational at times. A lot of them just see the world differently. Could be from comics, movies, TV shows, anime, games, graphic novels, or anywhere else you’ve found a surprisingly good villain.

Another week, another big twist (which I wrote about here). I thought it was a good episode, the death was well done and hit the right notes, and the stuff with Kimiko is interesting setup for the finale, but... I have no idea how they wrap everything up in just one episode?? What did you think?
