What did everyone think of the Muppet Show special on Disney+? I enjoyed it. Thought they did a good job capturing the spirit of the original. I wish it had been a bit longer to get a couple more sketches in, but it was fun. I'd like to see Disney bring it back as a series. That seems like the most obvious thing and it hasn't happened yet.

So many good TV shows and movies happening right now. So, what's at the top of your watchlist? I was browsing through this week's streaming arrivals and am looking forward to finally watching The Good Place now that it's on Hulu. I've been wanting to check it out for awhile now but haven't gotten around to it. Also pretty exicted to watch the live-action How to Train Your Dragon once it drops on Netflix Tuesday!

I'm the right age to have never known a time when the Ninja Turtles weren't around, so I'm curious what others think about how Paramount-Skydance is now treating the franchise. I'm certainly happy they want to invest a lot in it and cater to fans of all ages, but developing a new live-action movie alongside the Mutant Mayhem sequel feels like oversaturation could be brewing. On top of that, they ditched Playmates for Mattel as the master toy license holder. In short, big change is coming in the next two years for TMNT, not all of it good I worry.

Quick Question: What do you think about MARVEL Studios breaking its 16-Year trend of releasing a new movie trailer during the Super Bowl? I was anticipating a quick look at Spider-Man: Brand New Day or Avengers: Doomsday yesterday, but what did we get ... TERRIBLE commercials and no MARVEL. I guess that capped off one of the worst Super Bowls I've seen.

I've been showing my kids some of the older Marvel movies recently. The original X-Men movies didn't really keep their attention. They thought they were a little slow and cheesy. My list includes The Wire and The Americans, both of which never won Drama series Emmys. The Wire never got nominated; The Americans got ONE acting win and a writers' win for the final season. Looking back now, that's WILD. What other shows do you think were criminally overlooked in their time?
