Hurst is awesome. Great pick. And I'm glad they didn't just go with fan casts/lookalike actors. With Hurst, I think we'll get someone who can translate Kratos' mix of stoic and rage in live-action.

I tend to think he'll be Harvey Dent as well - but I'd love for them to surprise us with something out of left field. I mean, if Jeremy Allan White can voice a Hutt, why can't Stan play a full-on Arkham Asylum-like Killer Croc or something (kidding, but that would be awesome).

The latest Doomsday teaser trailer is officially online: What did you think? Are you hyped for Doomsday? I’m excited to see Thor and Cap back but after Multiverse of Madness (and even RDJ being cast as Doom), I’m worried this movie has too much going on to actually be a good story on its own merits. Would love to be wrong and I’m sure it’ll be fun - but I’m not sure it’s what the MCU actually needs to get back on track.

I LOVED Smallville and am thoroughly enjoying the Talkville rewatch podcast. However, some of those episodes are rouuuuugh - enough that it makes it hard to recommend someone who hasn’t seen the series watch the whole thing.

Sabrina Carpenter x Muppets = so crazy it might actually work. Lanterns is probably top of my list but I’m also ready for more House of the Dragon.

With so many mixed reactions to season 5 of Stranger Things, what’s one thing you’d change if you could? I’m actually enjoying it a lot but, if I had to pick one thing, I’d say: the balance has shifted substantially in who is getting development and who isn’t. Feels like Eleven, Mike, and Lucas are kind of stuck in supporting roles now. It’s nice to see Will, Max, etc get big moments this season but they’ve expanded character such as Holly at the expense of some established characters that are flat this season. That or I just want more dipshit Derek.

I enjoyed a lot of games this year but, weirdly, sunk the most time in Destiny: Renegades. I was really burnt out on Destiny but the Star Wars inspo, lightsaber, and a fun dungeon really pulled me back in. Not GotY worthy but maybe most improved? LOL. Ghost of Yotei probably lands as my GotY though - with Arc Raiders as a close runner up.

Is it nerdy to try and eat healthier? I’ll probably be nerdy about it, like download a bunch of apps and buy a smart water bottle. lol.

I scraped together all my gifts and tossed in some money to snag the LEGO Deathstar set. Now to find the time to build the thing...

Same to you movieman!

Hello Magicman!

Oh man. Silent Running is still so fun. I would definitely be down for a remake. But who would you cast as Freeman?

I can definitely see what you mean here. they’ve taken a lot of crazy liberties (especially as those legacy characters needed new arcs). I like the idea of gods just being meta humans that normal people worshipped - but it’s all been wildly inconsistent.

Oh man. I love Downsizing!

Happy New Year comicbookfan101!

Danno! Happy holidays to you and yours!

Same to you Rob!

Welcome! Excited to have you here! What’s the genre of the projects?
