What types of games do you find yourself the most drawn to? I feel like some categories, like RPG or cozy game, get so broad they almost don't mean anything. So I'm curious - what kinds of games do you play the most?

I love cozy games, but specifically, I'm a cooking sim/management sim fan. As for RPGs, I tend towards more fantasy-style action RPGs like Skyrim.

My primary genres seem to be JRPGs (Final Fantasy, GranBlu) and Third Person Action Adventure (Tomb Raider, Uncharted), but I also play a lot of fighting games (Street Fighter) and I guess what you'd describe as cozy with things like Disney Dreamlight Valley.

I really like action-focused games... Metroidvanias, Soulslike, Roguelites, action-adventures à la Zelda... I'm mostly a solo player, and something with a nice level of challenge and good wordbuilding that's not too chatty will always draw me.

That said, I'm also a sucker for platformers, and I'll obsessively play Nintendo titles. Weird puzzles are also my jam. I don't care that much about classic puzzles, but give me something like Baba Is You or The Witness and I'll pour dozens of hours finding every secret.

I'm not a cozy gamer at all... But during the pandemic, I almost converted. My Switch clock marks 500+ hours in Animal Crossing.

Haha, the pandemic is when I got into cozy gaming, and I just haven't turned back.
