What’s something you watched, read, or played this week that you’d recommend?

Before the week resets, I’m curious what everyone checked out over the last few days. Could be a movie, TV show, comic, or game, anything that stood out and you’d actually recommend.

Looking for a few new things to add to my list to check out.

For the classic Pokemon Anime for 30th anniversary I want:

A Dragonball Z kai style.

Redub by Studiopolis.

No swearing, no inappropriate scenes and no inappropriate dialogue

Keep all English names.

Season 1: August 2026, Season 2: October 2026, Season 3: January 2027, Season 4: April 2027 and Season 5: July 2027.

That’s my few things I need you to add.

We've been watching all of the Desendants movies, and they are fantastic. Also recently played The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring – Trick-Taking Game, and it's pretty dang fun, especially if you like cooperative games. I also jumped back into Fortnite's Save the World mode and forgot how much I used to love it. Still incredibly fun

I'll check out that Lord of the Rings game, my kids finally got into the movies and are always asking about it.

Finished the third Apothecary Diaries light novel and they are so much fun. Definitely a nice way to make the wait for Season 3 feel a bit less terrible.

Also spent some time getting back into Dave the Diver, which was really nice. Just a great gameplay loop when you want something chill.

I just caught up with the Comic, "Exquisite Corpses" and there is 1 more issue for season 1 of the book, and it is completely off the rails and i love it! 2 mini series, season 2, an excellent card game coming to kickstarter this month ( i got the beta at C2E2 and have been playing at my weekly game night and it is so much fun) and a potential movie/videogame in the works for it. i'd highly recommend it

One of my friends from college came to visit last weekend, and he brought his original Hero Quest board game. It's been at least 20 years since we last played. We played all 14 quests while he was here - trying to plan another weekend so we can play through the expansion sets. It's hard to find the original game these days (I picked up several partial sets to make a full game a few years ago) but I hear there's a new version out now.

Hero Quest is so fun!

I play the new versions from Avalon Hill and have really enjoyed them.
