Mine would be Breaking Dawn Part 2. The entire movie was a blast to see in theaters with other fans, but the fight scene in particular is honestly one of my favorite movie theater experiences. I’d been a fan of the books before the movies came out, and so I was not at all expecting the fight scene or that twist. I remember the entire theater gasping and screaming at once. It was just such an awesome collective experience to have.

Who's headed out to see Project Hail Mary this weekend? Curious what everyone thinks given the tidal wave of hype around it . Personally, I really enjoyed it. I previously listened to the excellent audiobook (highly recommend) so I was a little predisposed to liking it. About my only criticism is that they have to condense so much from the book that some of the flashbacks to Earth aren't as substantive as they are in the novel.

With the Oscars behind us, what movies have you enjoyed so far this year? I saw an early screening of Project Hail Mary yesterday. It was ok enough, I thought ut ran a bit long. Certainly wouldn't give it a 90 something like it's scoring on Rottentomatoes.com

If you could choose one fictional world to live in, which one would you pick? It could be from comics, movies, TV, or games. The only rule is you have to live there as a normal person, not the main hero.

We're in the final weeks of the Winter 2026 season, so what's the best anime of the slate? I'm leaning towards Frieren Season 2, but Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 has been fun.

It seems pretty clear that Batman would be breaking the law constantly in the real world. But the bigger question is what would actually happen to him. If he was getting results and taking down major criminals, do you think authorities would try to arrest him, or quietly let him operate? Would public opinion play a role in that? Would they force him to take off the mask, so to speak?

With Pokémon Day coming up on February 27, 2027, I thought it would be fun to see what everyone is hoping for this time around. This thread was actually suggested by @Comicbookfan101 in another discussion, so I figured we'd get one going! With Pokémon celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026, it'll be interesting to see what The Pokémon Company has planned next. Could we see another remake of a classic game, a completely new adventure, or maybe something involving the anime or trading card game?

I just finished reading the first issues of all three of Marvel's new Midnight Universe comics, and I have to say, I'm really enjoying what they're doing so far. Each series takes familiar Marvel characters and reimagines them through a different style of horror, and I think there's a lot of potential here. Midnight Fantastic Four #1 (Benjamin Percy and Kev Walker) This one has a strong Lovecraftian, cosmic horror vibe, which I absolutely love. The Fantastic Four have always been about explorati
