There have been many consoles over the years, and I imagine everyone has a few favorites. If you had to highlight just one console though, which would be your all-time favorite? My favorite all-time console is still the SEGA Dreamcast, and somewhere there's an alternate universe where SEGA kept making consoles and we got the Dreamcast 2 and Dreamcast 3. Other systems were more powerful, but I still look back at my Dreamcast era and wish I still had mine. I and my 3 sons loved the TV show, Bones. I still continue to watch every re-run I can find. It is my favorite TV show of all time. Sherlock Holmes, with Lucy Lu would be my second choice. Obviously, I love a good mystery, with a bit of humor. Even when I was young I used to watch The Thin Man series. I think it was Myrna Loy and Peter Lawford or Howard Duff (I can't be sure because it was decades ago). Decades later they made a similar series out of it starring Ken Howard, I believe, but one of the stars passed away and the series was junked. Besides, I always thought my favorite actor, Jeff Goldblum, would have been a better choice for the part.

Inspired by Bill Simmons' recent podcast (IYKYK), it got me thinking about what movies from the 21st Century I've seen the most. Not what's the best, or even favourite, but just the ones that I have rewatched the most times. For me, it's either something that was always on TV (American Pie 2, Hot Fuzz, and Shaun of the Dead were movies that were always on one specific channel at night in the UK for years and years, and I always inevitably watched them), or something where I tend to do a yearly rewatch, like LOTR/Harry Potter. What were yours?

The subject says it all -- and for me right now that is MTV's Teen Wolf. Just finished binge watching that and holy cow, I have some questions about so much of that show. It definitely feels very much of the years it came out.

I don't know about you, but I love setting intentions and goals for the new year. Do you have any goals or intentions that are specific to gaming? I'm hoping to get caught up with some of my backlog and also try more games that aren't necessarily in my wheelhouse, since I loved a few of those this year.

This is kind of a rhetorical question because the answer is obviously the legwork that was done long before GoT was on HBO, but the comparisons between Stranger Things and Game of Thrones really got me thinking about it. Well that and the premier of Knight of the Seven Kingdoms on the horizon. Game of Thrones completely botched its ending and spent the better part of two years disappointing the majority of its fan base, whereas Stranger Things had a pretty bad final season that concluded what many consider a pretty great finale. Yet here I sit, feeling the opposite about the two franchises overall. Despite that awful ending, I have still clung to everything GoT has thrown…

G.I. Joe is a beloved IP, and continues to have success thanks to comics in the Energon Universe and action figures as part of the stellar G.I. Joe Classified line. It hasn't had an easy time of making it big on the big screen or TV though, and there have been some decent attempts. With the upcoming crossover with Transformers, it has one more major shot, but what do you think the franchise needs to do to help it become a major movie and TV franchise once more?

I'm honestly impressed with how well the series has managed to keep the story going like no time has passed at all between seasons, obviously helps that they had a shorter window than most streaming shows. What's everyone else think of the new episodes?

I have watched the new Dune 3 trailer as Denis Villeneuve intended... on my 15-inch Macbook screen. What does everyone think of this? It looks just as epic as the first trailer. My most anticipated movie of the fall/winter. Will definitely be seeing this before Doomsday. I sincerely hope my theater shows this before The Odyssey. I never saw the first Dune 3 teaser in the theater, sadly.
