Still trying to wrap my head around the Bluepoint news from yesterday. I can't believe Sony is just shutting that studio down. Wanted to create a thread where we gamers could vent and talk about the great work Bluepoint did. I played their Shadow of the Colossus and Demon's Souls remakes, plus the Uncharted collection they worked on. Anger was the first feeling I had after seeing the news. Sony had this team working on a God of War live service game? Why? Who was asking for that? Sony's pivot to live service this gen really blew up in their face and it's sad. I have a question for comic collectors about valuation. I have a copy of Superman #1, in an auction currently. It is graded 6.5, unrestored. When assembling provenance, I gathered some pictures I found, from when my father loaned the comic to the Smithsonian Institution for the 50th anniversary Superman Exhibit. Among the pictures, are the stars of Superman IV, including Christopher Reeve, photographed by the side of the exhibit, in front of a wooden Superman wall piece. In another picture the wall piece is visible on the edge of the display showing the comic. I'm absolutely fascinated by what the MCU's been doing with Damage Control. Really feel this group has been set up as major villains for the Mutant Saga, policing the mutant population. Do you think that's the route Marvel will take or are you expecting things to go in a different direction?

Has anyone here played Sons of Sparta since it was shadow dropped last week? I'm wondering if it's worth picking up or not. I love the modern God of War games (haven't played the Greek saga yet), but I'm not the biggest fan of 2D games and that Metacritic score is solid not great. I've got so many other things to play, but willing to give Sons of Sparta a chance if it's good.

I've been rewatching The Mandalorian, and I always feel a bit sad when Carl Weathers pops up on screen, knowing he won't be back in the movie. This has made me wonder, what would be the best way for Mando and Grogu to handle the character of Greef Karga? I'd imagine if they were going the recast route, something would have been revealed by now. Are they gonna tastefully write him out by saying he died off screen? Will he still be alive (and just not appear), leaving the door open for a recast down the line? Really bums me out we won't see Weathers in the role again. You could tell he had a lot of fun playing that character.

There are a lot of games I'm looking forward to this year, but only a handful have release dates through May. I'm still waiting on release dates for: Wolverine (I know they said fall), Control 2, Tomb Raider remake, Halo remake, Kena sequel, Onimusha, Plague Tale, etc. I know publishers want to steer clear of GTA 6, so are we gonna get a bunch of these crammed together in the summer to get ahead of GTA? That doesn't seem best for everyone either. What are the odds some of these get pushed to 2027?

Another of today's big trailers was for House of the Dragon Season 3: http://comicbook.com/tv-shows/news/house-of-the-dragon-season-3-trailer-promises-the-epic-targaryen-war-weve-been-waiting-for/ Season 2 was a bit more divisive (though I mostly liked it), and it's been very refreshing watching A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, but... fuck yeah this looks great.
