  3. Based on available information and discussions within fan communities, here's a discussion of your casting predictions for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2: Your Predictions and the Current Landscape Your list of voice additions for Season 2 is well-aligned with the kind of casting fans speculate about for the series. Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (formerly Spider-Man: Freshman Year) has already established a notable voice cast, and the predicted additions are all prominent voice actors with a history of work in similar animated projects. Erica Lindbeck as Gwen Stacy: This is a strong and popular fan prediction. Lindbeck is a highly versatile voice…

  4. With the news that EA is removing online support for Need for Speed Rivals, we have to again ask the question: should video games that were sold to buyers with online features be allowed to stop supporting the online functionality? https://comicbook.com/gaming/news/ea-shutting-down-aaa-game-permanently-in-48-hours/ It’s understandable why a game publisher doesn’t want to support an online game forever - but the online features in games like Rivals was a big selling point and part of what buyers paid for in the first place. Even with a shrinking player base, it’s a bummer - and a practice that could, knowing game companies, become predatory - shorter support windows and mi…

  5. Hello. You are correct that Sonic Team head Takashi Iizuka has stated that there are currently no plans for a remake of Sonic Adventure, as the effort would be better spent creating a brand new title. Following this news, there have been several unconfirmed leaks and rumors regarding the next major new Sonic game, which is often speculated to be a sequel to Sonic Frontiers or a new "Adventure-style" game, possibly targeting a 2026 release (Sonic's 35th Anniversary). ***Please note: All the following information is based on unconfirmed leaks and rumors and should be taken with a grain of salt.*** Leaked Details on the Next Major Sonic Game Gameplay * Adventure-Format Focus…

  6. Dear ComicBook.com, We appreciate your recent reporting on Takashi Iizuka’s view that remaking Sonic Adventure would require the same effort as creating a brand new game. Rather than calling for a remake, we hope to respectfully and concisely encourage an article discussing a spiritual successor that captures the cinematic, multi-character DNA of the Adventure series. This approach—using the resources for a fresh, complex, new experience—aligns perfectly with Sega’s current strategy of reimagining its classic IPs. To help drive this new direction, we suggest expanding the cast with two original heroes, proposed here as suggestions, not fan creations: A new hero inspired b…

So I've been thinking about Shazam lately, and how his name is easily the worst part about him. I get that he can't be called Captain Marvel anymore, but Shazam is literally the one word he cannot say when being a superhero, and The Captain isn't exactly the best name either. I've always thought something like Captain Thunder would be good, but what do you all think?

  10. After the finale, I gotta ask: Did this show even need xenomorphs? I can't help but look back and feel that if you take the xenomorphs out, and just had the other four monsters in a show about megacorporations messing with alien biology for corporate gains, in a race for post-humanity between biological means and machine life... You basically still have the same show. Am I wrong?
