What were your feelings on the winners, and on the ceremony itself? The best movie of 2025 won Best Picture, so I can't complain too much there, and most other things went as expected. The ceremony itself remains way too long, I love Conan but a lot of his stuff this year didn't land, but still some good bits, and the In Memoriam segment was emotional and very well done.

I haven't picked up all the books but really love Redcoat, Geiger and Rook from Ghost Machine. Art is fantastic and the stories are all well done. I haven't picked up any of the horror ones but honestly think these are some of the best books out right now.

OMG, this is terrible news for Buffy fans. Sarah Michelle Gellar just posted on her Instagram saying that the new Buffy the Vampire Slayer show is not going to happen anymore. From what I understand, the project, which was supposed to be a continuation called Buffy: New Sunnydale, was being developed for Hulu and even had an Oscar-winning director attached, but apparently the platform decided not to move forward with it. Sarah said she wanted fans to hear the news directly from her first, and you can tell she’s really disappointed too. I understand not every one likes Jar Jar Binks, but I think he could've been a great character. He made me laugh on screen. Sometimes comedic fillers don't work out, and I think that was the angle of him? But from what I remember, in some scenes, he made me laugh. Maybe a better character development for him would've been well recieved, but I can see him making a cameo- had things been different, in a mini animation series with some of the other characters we don't see often. 💻⌨️📽🎬🙏🏼✝️💖🩷💕

Nathan Fillion has been doing videos getting the cast back together, teasing an announcement for this Sunday (where they're at AwesomeCon). This has, naturally, led to speculation that we're finally getting a Firefly Season 2/revival. I'm not expecting that much - I assume it'll just be some kind of reunion special/table read/25th anniversary announcement thing, though I also wouldn't be too surprised if it was game-related or some other branding thing. Now that it's been out for a couple of weeks, how's everyone liking Resident Evil Requiem? I just finished my playthrough the other day and I really enjoyed it. I liked how Grace and Leon's segments felt distinct from each other. I found myself always on my toes when playing as Grace, and with Leon I was basically the Doom Slayer. I thought that was cool. The Girl is straight up nightmare fuel. Every time that thing appeared I panicked.

Fatal Frame 2 is the latest PS2 game to get a remake of its own this week. This got me thinking, what other games from the PS2 still need to get a remake of their own? Bully is the big one that I'd love to see come back, but I doubt Rockstar would ever do it.

With today being Mario Day and Pokemon Go launching a campaign centered on memories with the game, I'm thinking about early gaming memories. Those moments that made you love video games or identify as a gamer. For me, I can remember playing Super Mario with my dad on our SNES when I was really little. But it was playing Mario 64 at at a friends house, then finally getting a Nintendo 64 of our own that really sold me on gaming for life. What are your fondest early gaming memories?

With Pokémon Day coming up on February 27, 2027, I thought it would be fun to see what everyone is hoping for this time around. This thread was actually suggested by @Comicbookfan101 in another discussion, so I figured we'd get one going! With Pokémon celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026, it'll be interesting to see what The Pokémon Company has planned next. Could we see another remake of a classic game, a completely new adventure, or maybe something involving the anime or trading card game?

I just finished reading the first issues of all three of Marvel's new Midnight Universe comics, and I have to say, I'm really enjoying what they're doing so far. Each series takes familiar Marvel characters and reimagines them through a different style of horror, and I think there's a lot of potential here.
