What first got you into geek culture? In the 70’s, modifying tiny army soldiers to look like super hero’s, including painting them. If you had to pick ONE franchise to rep forever: Marvel’s Spider-Man, I’ve always …

With the surprise news that she's going to appear in Avengers: Secret Wars, I'm really starting to believe the rumor that she's playing Mayday Parker and is the daughter of Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man. Anyone else?

There are all sorts of debates about what is or isn't a Christmas movie, but what makes a Thanksgiving one? What's a good example you point to as like the Thanksgiving movie you'd watch every year? Is it vibe? Does it have to be about the holiday? Does it even have to be set during Fall? We've seen all sorts of wild movies and TV specials count for Christmas, but what makes a Thanksgiving one haha

  4. Just for fun, what dish do you think your favorite superhero brings to Thanksgiving dinner? It's been my own personal headcanon for years that Batman brings deviled eggs because they're a good source of protein.

  5. A ton of comic books, novels, and video games have been adapted into movies already, but there are still so many things that have yet to be brought to the big screen. What stories do you want to see turned into a movie? This could even include specific comic storylines that haven't been faithfully adapted into a movie yet, even if the character itself has had a bunch of movies. I would love to see Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic turned into a movie at some point, though that might be too expansive to cover in just one film. I am also still holding out hope that one day we will get to see Kraven's Last Hunt adapted for a Spider-Man movie, but Sony may not be interes…

Will there be an episode Friday from the crew or taking a holiday break?

  7. TV · Started by Jackson Hayes,

With Thanksgiving upon us, it's got me thinking about the best episodes of TV that focus on the holiday. Friends has some great ones (who can forget the beef in the trifle?), but there have to be other ones worthy of discussion. What are your favorites?

  8. OG Donkey Kong and Ocarina of Time for me. Legendary games. Obvi.

  9. We’ve seen a few villains get their own stories, but it doesn’t happen often. Which villain do you think could carry their own movie and keep audiences interested? Could it be someone like Doctor Doom, Carnage, Magneto, or an underrated villain who deserves more attention? Who’s your pick, and how would you make it work on screen? I'll post my picks in the comments.

  11. While I might have read a comic before these, it was the '90s runs of Amazing Spider-Man and Superman that truly got me hooked on the world of comics, and as a result, that formed a loyalty and love of certain characters and concepts from that era that last until this day. What superheroes first got you into comics? Let me know and share an image of a cover or two from that era!

  12. … what would it be? I think watching Jurassic Park would still be thrilling/fun - even in a world where I would have seen CGI dinos before. If not that, then probably something with a great twist: The Prestige, The Sixth Sense, or Fight Club.
