I feel like CinemaCon is a harder one to get hyped for because so little gets released to the public, and it’s hard for me to get excited just reading footage descriptions from the panels. I’d almost rather all of it just be under embargo since it’s primarily for the theaters/studios than having to read someone’s play-by-play of a clip/trailer 🥴

I cannot wait for this movie. Iñárritu's return is exciting, but more so is Cruise finally doing something that isn't just him being an action star. As great as he is at that, it'll be awesome to see him taking on a different kind of role, hopefully getting back to the kind of stuff he was doing with Magnolia etc, and putting him back in Oscars contention. Anyone else hyped for this?

Maybe I'm off base on this, but after the MCU's down year at the box office last year, it seems like box office trends have shifted and superhero movies aren't as sure of a thing. There will always be hit Spider-Man and Batman films, but the era of taking an obscure property like GOTG and turning it into a massive hit might be over. I'm curious what impact (if any) this will have on the DCU as that gets going. Superman was successful, but he's in the same group as Spidey and Batman.
