Now that it's been out for a couple of weeks, how's everyone liking Resident Evil Requiem? I just finished my playthrough the other day and I really enjoyed it. I liked how Grace and Leon's segments felt distinct from each other. I found myself always on my toes when playing as Grace, and with Leon I was basically the Doom Slayer. I thought that was cool. The Girl is straight up nightmare fuel. Every time that thing appeared I panicked.

Fatal Frame 2 is the latest PS2 game to get a remake of its own this week. This got me thinking, what other games from the PS2 still need to get a remake of their own? Bully is the big one that I'd love to see come back, but I doubt Rockstar would ever do it.

With today being Mario Day and Pokemon Go launching a campaign centered on memories with the game, I'm thinking about early gaming memories. Those moments that made you love video games or identify as a gamer. For me, I can remember playing Super Mario with my dad on our SNES when I was really little. But it was playing Mario 64 at at a friends house, then finally getting a Nintendo 64 of our own that really sold me on gaming for life. What are your fondest early gaming memories?

Now that Hoppers is out, what are your favorite Pixar movies? My top 5 would have to be: Toy Story 3 (and the whole franchise by extension) Monsters Inc The Incredibles Inside Out WALL-E Honorable mentions to Finding Nemo, Up, Ratatouille. That run from Toy Story to Toy Story 3 (give or take a Cars) was unlike anything we've seen.

I think we all have at least one movie that didn't fully click after the first watch but did on a rewatch. For me, the first one that comes to mind is Inglorious Basterds. I remember some of the marketing materials sold it as like some action comedy about Brad Pitt mowing down Nazis, so when I finally got a chance to watch the movie, I was surprised that the Basterds themselves were only a small part of it and was actually a little disappointed. Second time through, when I knew what I was getting into, I absolutely loved it. It's one of my favorite Tarantino films.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy are some of my favorite movies, I rewatch the extended editions 2-3 times per year. But I didn’t like the Hobbit movies, and I haven’t liked the Rings of Power series, so I’ve been hesitant to get excited at all about The Hunt for Gollum. Is this one you’re excited to see?
