With this week's Nintendo Direct now outta the way, it sounds like we're getting a State of Play from PlayStation next week. What are you hoping shows up? Wolverine feels likely since Insomniac said it would share more early this year. Other than that, I'd love to just see anything new from PlayStation that isn't some rehashed IP. The new Horizon game they announced this week has soured me further on their strategy as a company this generation. I just want to see something fresh.

The long-rumored Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase finally dropped this morning, and it was a pretty long one! What did you think of it? Here's the link, in case you haven't had a chance to tune in yet. I wasn't ready to see Todd Howard, but I wasn't surprised to see a release date for FF7 Rebirth on Switch 2. A lot of anime games this time around, too.

In the 1977 animated version of The Hobbit, I think it’s worth mentioning the profoundly good voice of Golum. I remember as a kid getting so scared listening to this part of the record I was gifted. I listened to it so many times I almost had it memorized. The voice done so well, maybe even better than the one in the latest movies.

I have watched the new Dune 3 trailer as Denis Villeneuve intended... on my 15-inch Macbook screen. What does everyone think of this? It looks just as epic as the first trailer. My most anticipated movie of the fall/winter. Will definitely be seeing this before Doomsday. I sincerely hope my theater shows this before The Odyssey. I never saw the first Dune 3 teaser in the theater, sadly.
