Batman/Deadpool #1 finally dropped today, and I’m curious who else grabbed a copy. Which cover did you go with? Your shop have all the variants, or did anything sell out fast? I walked in today and my local comic shop had an entire wall full of every cover! I ended up getting the Doom/Joker cover and Gambit/Robin cover, but there were many more I wanted too 😅

Me and my other two friends are waiting for switch 2 possible on OLED version and standard version to be on a price budget situation! Cause we can't afford it on that very price ! As the year winds down I've started to gather some thoughts on the best physical media releases in 2025, and I wanted to see what other collectors enjoyed most this year. Any 4K restorations from studios, boutique stuff (like Criterion, Arrow, Shout), or even new releases that just really captured your attention? I'm interested to see if there are any releases I missed this year that people have a lot of love for. Personally, Sony's Monty Python and the Holy Grail 50th Anniversary 4K has been unparalleled for me. There's a lot of great work being done with these restorations, but taking a movie that is almost known for looking bad and mining the original beauty out of it …

Got back from a Predator: Badlands screening and it’s one of the most entertaining movies I’ve seen all year. And I hope people make it out to the theater to see it. Which fictional villain do you think would actually make a great mentor if you survived long enough to learn from them? Some of them may be ruthless, but they’re also disciplined, intelligent, and weirdly motivational at times. A lot of them just see the world differently. Could be from comics, movies, TV shows, anime, games, graphic novels, or anywhere else you’ve found a surprisingly good villain.

Another week, another big twist (which I wrote about here). I thought it was a good episode, the death was well done and hit the right notes, and the stuff with Kimiko is interesting setup for the finale, but... I have no idea how they wrap everything up in just one episode?? What did you think?
