I could see that working.

I'll also add a shout to the new Hello Darkness from BOOM Studios. It's my favorite anthology to follow at the moment.

I think it's clear these teasers are aimed at the biggest and most recognizable names. Captain, Thor, the third one is rumored to be Doom (so Robert Downey Jr.). The fourth will probably be a story teaser, without a specific character. I don't think anyone else is getting a character teaser.

I won't believe a new Spawn movie is coming until 30 minutes after the movie actually starts, and I'm sitting in the theater. There has been so much back and forth that I can't trust Todd anymore.

I can totally agree with that.

I would love an Overwatch series because the world is incredible, but I don't care about team shooters...

The trailer is online (you can watch it here), and honestly, I couldn't be happier that Nolan is going full into mythology. What do you think of it?

YES! Just to add something that hasn't been said, Alan Wake and Metal Gear are perfect for the TV show structure. Also, I will forever ask for a Dark Souls anthology of sorts.

If we don't get space dragon, we riot!

I can confirm. I have friends in Brazil, and I'm in France. We don't get Doomsday treats.

God dammit... I see it too now!

I have nothing to say. That 100% nails it!

I'm now deep into the screeners, so I won't say another word. I'll just lurk curiously here to see what everyone thinks.

Honestly, that would double my excitement about this movie!

@ChrisA90 already did a wonderful job mentioning some of my most anticipated. So I'll just add Duskbloods and Hollow Knight: Silksong - Sea of Sorrow

Apparently, the second one is for Thor, who was revealed in the chair stunt. So I guess they are just focusing on whoever puts more butts on the seats.

I agree!

Bloons rules!

Your good taste never ceases to amaze, Spencer. Two wonderful choices! The most relaxing game to me is Sekiro... I replay that game and 100% it at least once a year.

I'm usually too stubborn to give up finishing a game. But I gave up 100% Celest and Super Meat Boy... The harder levels in the post-game were just too much, and I had to accept my defeat.

Netflix has unveiled the final trailer for volumes 2 and 3 of Stranger Things 5 (you can watch it here). What are your final predictions? I'm definitely curious to see how they will wrap up the Upside Down lore, but I'm afraid Steve will make a heroic sacrifice in the upcoming episodes.

Overall, the CGI was horrendous... But the adult cast kept me interested as weeks went by; they are all great. Still, the biggest complaint I have with the show is its obsession with explaining every detail of the lore and creating connections with the movies. Pennywise is a lot less scary if we know everything about it, and the fact that they are tying its hunting cycle to the Losers' Club bloodlines makes it more predictable, and I feel it works best as a cosmic beast we can't understand.

Yep. That's how I feel about Absolute Batman. It's fun, it's a nice thrill ride, I like seeing the over-the-top panels... But in the end, it's not something I'll be thinking about after I read it.

That's what I'm afraid... If it's too much for fans, it might struggle to bring in the average moviegoer.

Writing for movies is a different skill from writing for games. It's nice to keep the creator in the loop, but hiring someone who understands what they are doing is also paramount.
