Are You Sticking With the Stranger Things Franchise After the Main Series Ends?

The Stage Play is out there, and more spinoffs are planned - but REALLY straddling the fence on this one.

Are you still into the "Stranger Things Universe" down the line? Is it dependent on the projects they announce? Or if Steve is alive?

Man, the negativity all of a sudden around this franchise is insane to me. I've been glued to this season, and I've seen nothing that warrants comparisons to Game of Thrones' final season. I didn't even watch Game of Thrones, and I still know that the final season was a dumpster fire.

As for the question, 100% in on the world. I'm already excited for Tales from '85.

It's good to know Stranger Things will still have one fan left after it's all over! As for me, had no idea it was a franchise outside of the show and it should stay that way! Let's move on!

What types of spinoffs are they planning? I love the feeling we all had when it first came out. It was the perfect show for that time period. It's like it captured something we all missed about the 80s. I'll likely watch more if it has a similar vibe.

There's an animated spinoff set between seasons 2 and 3 called Tales from '85, and then there's another spinoff series being developed by the Duffer Brothers that they are working on before they leave for their new deal. Those are the ones we know of so far.

I (mostly) liked the finale, don't have much interest beyond the show because what I really cared about here were the characters rather than the Upside Down lore, but... will probably still watch Tales From '85, the mystery spinoff, and the inevitable continuation they do in 10-15 years nonetheless

I think spinoffs will be a hard sell for me because the biggest draw for me has always been the characters. I just enjoyed watching the characters interact with each other most of all. So it'll depend on if the cast in the spinoff is up to the task.

Oh cool! I'm sure they will be good.
