  1. I love that we're finally getting back to just friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. No Way home is good but we haven't had this since Homecoming a damn decade ago!
  2. If Bruce Wayne just donated money to the current president, he'd let him keep going
  3. Honestly it looks amazing, love that they make it seem like a horror show
  4. It's true, we're all officially Too Old For This Shit. The whole thing is about generating buzz and keeping young eyes glued to their phones, the strategy doesn't make sense to us because it's not for us.
  5. Looks great, which isn't a surprise at this point in Denis' career. I'm curious how they're going to handle sme of the wackiest stuff from the books. To your point, a better trailer than any of the Doomsday ones, so I can see why they're confident in keeping the release date.
  6. It is also, very cute

Yeah the Batman TMNT Animated movie is AWESOME
  8. Based on reports, it sounds like the pilot just plain didn't work. I'm not totally surprised by this tbh. Even though I love Chloe Zhao's work, it doesn't translate to more mainstream stuff like a Buffy reboot
  9. The Pokemon Concierge show on Netflix is good too! The episode are also super short, so that helps
  10. This is my big one. Overall loved the ceremony, thought Conan did a good job and wasn't upset about any winners, but the playoffs are crazy
  11. One Battle After Another still gets my vote, as great as many of the other nominees are.
  12. Since none of us actually get to vote on the Oscars (at least, I assume as much), what would win if we voted?

Halloween '78 really is the one for me still, but Texas Chain Saw, Phantasm, and The Shining are the classics for a reason.

Some of my favorite lesser-known movies are: Fade to Black (1980), New Life (2023), Alligator (1980), and PHANTASM!
  15. I would just be stunned if it was a proper reboot that had somehow been developed without any of the hollywood trades not hearing about it at all. That said, I hope it's not just a re-watch podcast or something, even if it's a reboot that's actually an audio drama, I'd take it.
  16. Beating Donkey Kong Country on my own, it was the first video game where I did it by myself without my dad's help

oh man, Wall-E is probably my favorite Pixar movie and I had no idea these existed. Even worse, they appear to be quite hard to find now
  18. Thought of another, power to instantly dry off after getting wet.
  19. I'm afraid that the project is pretty doomed. As others have noted, the magic in those first three movies isn't seen in The Hobbit or Rings of Power. At least this one will have som familiar faces, but even then it's not like the bar has lowered with time, it's still high thanks to Jackson's OG Trilogy.
  20. An oxymoron, but I was thinking about that arc from Morrison's X-Men with the kids who are technically mutants but whose powers are...bad. What would be a superpower that is totally useless for a superhero team, but would actually be useful in every day life? I'm thinking like, you can teleport but only three feet at a time, or, you can fly but it's the same exertion as running.
  21. Kicking Alex Kurtzman to the curb would be a great start!
  22. Yeah, they pitched this as True Detective with Green Lanterns, which is what it looks like!
  23. I think it was Doctor Strange. I rewatched it ahead of Multiverse of Madness, believing that I didn't like it, but found it so much more enjoyable than the first time around. I have to assume I was sleepy the first time I saw it because man was I grumpy about it the first time.

DOOM ETERNAL. I still put those tracks on while working
  25. The Godzilla trailer from San Diego Comic-Con immediately comes to mind
