The comparisons to Dr. Strangelove definitely have piqued my interest...

I think the answer is simple: make a good movie that people can go see without feeling the need for "homework." Some of this is out of their control. I would argue the viral complaint that a movie like The Marvels "required" watching so many other D+ shows helped tank it, but it's a key complaint for people in the attention economy.

Absolute Batman, Wonder Woman, and Catacombs of Torment for me! Pretty light week but I've also got my eye on the new Animal Man By Tom Veitch and Steve Dillon Omnibus

David Lynch's Eraserhead Tony Gilroy's Michael Clayton Tim Burton's Pee-wee’s Big Adventure And a more recent one that everyone should watch, Anna Kendrick's Woman of the Hour

I genuinely can't wait. Cregger has proven himself twice over already, and the bar is incredibly low for Resident Evil movies. Honestly, doing something original within the world feels like a great way for video game movies to go, though which franchises could pull that off is probably short. That said, I think sometimes hardcore fans of RE get a little too precious about these games, which are objectively quite silly.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen! Just forget that there's a movie with the same name, the comics are genuinely outstanding with amazing world building.

Honestly, moving into non-game characters could be a good idea!

Feels like a new game is inevitable. The question is, how will they top the last one? They made so many deals and brought in so many other characters, it'll be tough to beat that.

If shorter and cheaper is the only want to make them, I say don't make them. Though that does leave the last line of the series to be, "No shit??" 😂

Yeah, I think it might be that reality is almost too close to what they're doing here, which has been the case since last season, this one has run its course clearly. Not to mention it has become the thing it used to make fun of, the product placement and merchandising are out of control.

The Wizard of Oz

DREAMCAST HIVE RISE

Cleaning the bathroom is better than Jurassic World Rebirth!

Good to know! Might wait for a sale but I'm eager to try now

Plus, Marvel is gearing up for a soft reset after secret wars, if this one doesnt connect, audiences wont buy into that either

This is a big one for me, that movie was #3 for the year and they're still shrugging about the potential for a fourth 😂

This tells me everything I need to know about what Marvel Studios thinks of characters like Iron Fist. Danny Rand is so great in the comics and has some excellent stories that could make for great movies or shows, but they'd rather bring back the guy that people barely even liked for the cheap trick of nostalgia that's barely a decade old.

Is it in a good state now? I remember launch being bumpy, but with a relese this scope I assume there were patches along the way that improved it (ala Cyberpunk)

Yeah, it's a given that it will be a hit, but will it really make a blip culturally? The MCU being down is a given, can this give them a spark to keep it going or is it a flash in the pan success that confirms it's over?

Didn't they leave her out already? He drops her off in the bad '80s and then leaves her there until the third movie 😂

Sweet Tooth by Jeff Lemire, the comic is much darker than the Netflix show

Karnak of the Inhumans, though being an Inhuman might also make him like 10th tier now

As everyone knows, I'm the resident Overwatch player. It's been amazing to see people make their way to the game with the new additions in the new season, especially since the number of heroes has reached 50+. You'd think it would be a high learning curve game, but it's great to see people showing up.

Only if the release another remake of The Last of Us

I know this isn't what they WANT me to think about, but when the new White Tiger showed up all I could think about is how little she is 😂
