Other Than Die Hard, What is Your Favorite Non-Christmas Movie Christmas Movie?

Let's just ignore the "is it a Christmas movie" debate of it all -- if it's a Christmas movie to you, then you can put it as your answer as long as it's not Die Hard because this question should be a challenge. :)

Mine's Batman Returns.

GO!

Part of me wants to say Catch Me If You Can because that film has a recurring bit where Leo and Hanks talk with each other on Christmas.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is another fun one.

This feels like the right place to say Home Alone is a Christmas movie in the same way that Die Hard is. Christmas is central to the plot but it's also not about Christmas.

To answer the question you're actually asking probably Long Kiss Goodnight?

While You Were Sleeping and Sleepless in Seattle. Both take place over the holidays and feel like Christmas movies through and through.

Also at this point, Hawkeye season 1 is also a Christmas staple

I still haven't seen Hawkeye, is it good?

It's in my top 2 Marvel shows, and that's coming from someone who wasn't ever a fan of Clint Barton's Hawkeye. Kate Bishop helps a lot of course, as do some other characters, but yeah, can't recommend enough.

About a Boy. Hugh Grant in his prime, Toni Collette, and a young Nicholas Hoult. Tugs at the heartstrings every time.

Oh this is an excellent choice

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban! I know a lot of the movies cover the holidays, but this one really hits home for me.

Anna And The Apocalypse would fall under this. It’s a zombie apocalypse that takes place around Christmas.

"Fellowship of the Ring," mainly because it was released during the holidays. The entire trilogy is now an annual holiday binge for me.

Other than Die Hard, my favorite non-Christmas Christmas movie is Gremlins.

It has that perfect mix of holiday vibes, chaos, and dark humor, and it just wouldn’t feel like Christmas without it.

This is an annual Christmastime viewing necessity in my house!
