What new TV shows are you most looking forward to in 2026?

2026 is shaping up to be a great year for TV, especially when it comes to new series. There are so many new shows I’m excited to watch next year, but I think I’m most excited for The Testaments. I was a big fan of The Handmaid’s Tale, and so I’m excited to see that story continue.

Also very much looking forward to A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and the Carrie TV show…I love everything Mike Flanagan touches, and so I’m extremely hopeful that his adaptation will be great.

I hope to see your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man season 2 with Erica Lindbeck as Gwen Stacy, Jeannie Tirado as Mary Jane Watson, Melenie Minichino as Priya Aggarwal, Robbie daymond as flash Thompson and Max Mittelman as Reptil. New villains, more action packed adventures and new allies.

Carrie is a great pick, I'm stoked for that as well.

I'm pretty excited about The Muppet Show coming back, even if it ends up just being the one-off special with Sabrina Carpenter I think she can match their energy perfectly.

Sabrina Carpenter x Muppets = so crazy it might actually work.

Lanterns is probably top of my list but I’m also ready for more House of the Dragon.

If you asked me to pick which celebrities would be a perfect fit for the Muppets, Sabrina Carpenter would absolutely be in the top 3

I would like to see your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man season 2 with Erica Lindbeck as Gwen Stacy, Jeannie Tirado as Mary Jane Watson, Melenie Minichino as Priya Aggarwal, Robbie daymond as flash Thompson and Max Mittelman as Reptil. New villains, more action packed adventures and new allies.

I'm admittedly not much of a superhero person, but my nephew has been begging me to watch Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man, so I may have to finally give it a try in 2026! Great pick!!

I had actually forgotten that The Testaments was still happening!

I don’t know if this will be the most anticipated show for everyone, but it’s definitely the one I’m most excited for. As a huge fan of the franchise and considering how abruptly the TV series ended, I can’t wait for the return of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The idea of a new Slayer joining the story and Buffy stepping into a mentor role sounds amazing and feels like the perfect evolution of the series.

Yessss! I keep forgetting it's hitting this year, but absolutely hyped for Buffy's return. I do hope we get a few Angel cast appearances by the end of it. I think I've always loved Angel as a series more than Buffy, but I still adore both.

Definitely A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, because it's exactly what the GOT franchise needs and I love the story. Also HOTD S3, The Boys S5, Bridgerton S4, and for something non-franchise, How To Get To Heaven From Belfast because Derry Girls was sooooo good and it's the same creator.

Happy New Year. It’s 2026! Have you watched Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man? Have you posted the article about my suggestions?

I'm excited for the next season of Frieren and Bridgerton Season 4, to a much lesser extent. Other than that, my pipe dream is to see some news about a second season of Agatha All Along and about theh Netflix Dungeons & Dragons series.

We watch horror and thriller series nightly, so I would love to see more series in that genre.

I so agree with this! Horror is my favorite and go-to genre for TV and movies, so I'm always psyched when there's something new.
