Do you still want to see Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 4?

Raimi has giving an update that basically it's not gonna happen, so how do you feel about that? If you had the power, would you still make it? I liked Maguire's return in No Way Home, and while I wasn't a massive fan of Doctor Strange 2, the best parts were where Marvel got out the way and let Raimi do his thing, so they've both still got it. There's part of me thinks it might be better left alone, but the nostalgia factor is strong and Mattson Tomlin, who talked about having an idea for it, has the superhero credentials too.

If I had the power, I would make it. I was curious to see what Tomlin had in mind, and as someone who grew up with the Raimi trilogy (that was my intro to Spider-Man), I feel like he deserves a shot to make one more and definitively end his series on a high note.

That trilogy is largely what made me a superhero fan, so in many ways I'd love to see what a 4th film would've looked like. But that third film was such a mess and so much time has passed that it's hard to imagine the original vision would still make sense. Basically, if it ever got made, I'd be there to see it, but I'm not sure it'd live up to expectations at this point.

I agree, I would still watch it, but I think the time has passed for it. We still watch the original trilogy and the kids love it.

I will never say no to anything Raimi. It doesn't matter the genre, I will watch it. That said, I would prefer Raimi to tackle something else. I think Spider-Man 4's ship has sailed, and I'm much more interested in Raimi making a Doctor Strange with full creative control, or something for the DCU.

Gave up on Spider-Man 4 long ago. I'm still just glad we got to see Tobey Maguire in the role once more in No Way Home. If that's the end of his run playing the character then I can live with it.

I'd be completely up for it, but the original story (I believe it involved the Vulture with Ben Kingsley in mind?) would drastically change. But would love closure to Peter and MJ's relationship.

The big problem is Sam barely makes movies anymore. He's made three in the last sixteen years. I know he's still got the juice, but considering the way the MCU has moved, I feel like it would be a sad swan song

Do you think they'll bring him back for Doomsday? I've heard rumors, but who knows what's real.

I'm 100% confident they will bring him back to Doomsday OR Secret Wars. No Way Home made too much money for them not to bet on nostalgia
